my shallow heart is the only thing thats beating

i had been busy. i had not been abandoning the blog. no i haven't.
okay. its just an excuse. i had been. im just winding down a bit. after all, im back in town. nothing has change. its all still the same. same old buildings. same old trees. they even still have the little noodle stale at the corner of the alley. sometimes you feel glad because you are once in the old familiar place that you grew up at. but sometimes you feel dissapointed cause it hasn't change to an urban-glamarous town you thought it might somehow will.
but its all good. i don't care as long it still makes the food i love. i never know how much i miss the food here until i take the first bite on 'mee goreng'....
mmmmmmm. bliss
a year. 12 months. 365 days. the existence of mee goreng had been vanished in my life for THAT long. i wonder how did i actually cope with it to think of.
sighs. i had totally forgot how HOT it is to be in malaysia. for fuck's sake, you sit in the living room without moving.. and you are sweating like a pig. i smell like an arse and i have to take my shower five times a day to smell at least decent.
of course, i dont want to sound like some bratty kid that think they are more ... superior/classy just because they just came back from overseas complaining about the weather, the people, the place.. oh well, you know the list goes on. so, i better stop bitching when im still intact and gain my compusure as the good kid thats appreciative and love her hometown. *nods* *wave malaysian flag with big grin*
anyway, i left one of my suitcase in auckland. my luggages are 27 kilos overweight. hah. and you want to know the total fine?
it's 30 dollars per kilo. bloody fucking DOLLARS. 1 dollar = 2.8 ringgit. of course, i unpack right in the airport, put some clothes into another suitcase and it was so embrassing because everyone is looking at me. i am the girl with humongous suitcases to everyone in the terminal. of course, with haste, i bring home nothing much but just a few basic tees and i have nothing to wear out. so much for impressing my old mates here.
gahhh. this is absurd.
oh yes, not forgetting the flight. its horrendous. i lost one of my contact lense in the plane. IMAGINE trying to read everything with one eye. i will never think that Captain Hook is such a cool character anymore. and of course, a kid that sat next to me bawling his eyes out if not because he's simply a dumbass, then he must be certainly trying to piss me off.
BECAUSE i havent get a wink of sleep for 13 hours. THIRTEEN HOURS. then the transit in KLIA = no sleep. THEN. it gets better, my flight to KK got delayed. oh yes, delayed for 3 hours. so no sleep. then when i finally reached KK, i didnt sleep because i was not sleepy anymore probably because im jet-lagged. the next day, when i finally took the last flight of all home. im worn out. but still no sleep. WHY?
Because im bombarded with people. breakfast with relatives. then unpacking and gifts for my siblings. cook lunch for family. log on the internet to search for the cheapest flight to KL. went jogging with my parents' mates. dinner with cousins. then. FINALLY. sleep. ahh.
oh, not forgetting that i had actually took family potrait. those that you have to wear all the gowns with your hair done and makeup on. its the most tiring thing that i had actually experienced, you have to get your pose right, your hair right, the lighting right. then you Smile. its alright to smile for the fist ten shoots. THEN, your cheeks get tired from that try-to-look-natural-smile to that fake, weebly smile.
SO, it all ended out everyone looking like fuck-wits with nothing better to do with that bloody smile. i will never ever go for photo shoot anymore. no. No. NO.
anyway, i have not much plans for the following week cause no one bother to ask me out. but i did make a to-do list.

1) postpone the National Service
2) medical check up
3) dentist visit
4) new shoes + clothes
5) fix my visa
6) police cert
7) buy the tickets to kl

i think that's all i can actually think of now. so, yeap, it will be a busy week for me.

mm. i miss nz. i wanna spend my summer there. *sobs* there goes the summer beach boys playing volleyball on mission bay.
